Philosophy Wire: Random. Paths…

Research has taken a close look at how fluids navigate around mazes and obstacles and has found a surprising randomness in how they choose their path. [1] We tend to either idolize randomness or be afraid of it and reject it altogether. What about a cosmos with randomness generating order? Can you see the storm? What about a cosmos where everything is predictable and thus generating randomness? (Can you walk on water?) What about a cosmos where nothing is random and still nothing can be predicted? (Can you be a God?) Can the possible ever not be? Shallow humans. Walking in the park. Trying to predict everything. And yet, the best thing I will ever have, is this random path treaded by me…
