Philosophy Wire: Mini brains. Understanding. Whole. Parts…

Revealing details of the internal structure of 'mini-brains' could help accelerate drug studies and may offer alternatives to some animal testing. [1] Humans. Always looking into the parts to understand the whole. But there would be no parts or mini-brains, without the brain itself. There can be no humans without the cosmos. There can be no God without us. God. Always looking into the whole to understand the parts. But there can be no whole without the parts. Poor Adam. You never truly understood. You didn't disobey anyone while eating that apple. But yourself...

Philosophy Wire: God…

Excavations on the south coast of South Africa have uncovered evidence of human occupations from the end of the last ice age, approximately 35,000 years ago, through the complex transition to the modern time, known as the Holocene and adaptions that were key to our species ability to survive wide climate and environmental fluctuations. [1] Run to the hills. The sea is coming. Run to the hills. The wind is blowing. A fierce storm raging. And in the middle of the sea, a man alone wandering. "I am not afraid!". Whispering, while heading to the bottom of the deep sea. "I am God"...

(Why can’t you believe in me?)

Fossils in the middle of the steep hill.

Who are those looking at me?

Parents crying.

A new storm raging in the midst of the sea…

Philosophy Wire: Feel the ground trembling…

Using quantum tunneling, scientists have developed self-powered sensors that can run for more than a year. [1] We try so hard to create self-powered machines that we cannot even realize the futility of our efforts. Nothing is self-powered. Nothing can sustain itself. Except the unsustainable. (Can you feel that earthquake?) Except the One who knows Himself. Feel the ground trembling. Soon, you will be dead. Funny. After all this war. All that will be left. Is Peace.

Philosophy Wire: Empty volume…

A 'molecular volume knob' regulating electrical signals in the brain helps with learning and memory, according to a new study. The finding could help researchers in their search for ways to manage neurological disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and epilepsy. [1] Brain detecting volume. Volume in a cosmos made out of nothing. Volume of ghosts making up knowledge. Volumes of shadows making up memories. Gods. Rising up from Nothing. Breeding Existence. And in the midst of the morning dusk. Humans. Wishing so hard to Die...

Think SIMPLY!

Why was the cosmos created? Without reason. Isn't that illogical?
What/ who created the cosmos? Nothing. Isn't that unscientific?
Can the material explain the immaterial? But matter is just a product of the mind!
Can the body die and the mind live? But there is no body!

You are thinking too much. And this is not always a good thing.
The illogical could have a simple illogical solution.
Search inside you in order to find it.

The cosmos exists. Why shouldn't it?
The cosmos exists as you experience it. Why not?
The cosmos was created by someone/ something. Could it be any other way?

We can understand the cosmos.
How can we if we are not similar to the one who created it?
Why was the cosmos created? Because God wanted us to participate in His joy…
Isn't that logical? Isn't that why you have children? Because you love them before you even have them?

You believe in logic. But was it logic which helped you choose your wife?
No matter how bad the world is, you will live for ever if you are a good person.
It sounds illogical. And simple. Why don't you believe it?
Could love and spirit ever die?

These are not objects (αντι-κείμενα) around you.
They are things (πράγματα < πραγματώνω).
These are not other people around you.
It is you.
There is only one God.
And we are all made in His image.
You cannot die because He is everywhere.
Accept the present.
Accept your body.
Who tells you it ends up at your skin?
Christ was resurrected with it.
Matter is not inferior or superior.
Everything is blessed.
I am still in Kythera. [Harmonia Philosophica]
Tips of the waves, based on a common sea. [Schrödinger]
Religion is based on empiricism.
You live your experience with God.

Stop thinking.
Stop analyzing things. [Science: One -> Many]

Just love.
Συγ-χώρα. [Religion: Many -> One]
Empty your mind.
Leave space to be filled with the cosmos.

Sit by the beach for a coffee.
Spend time with your loved ones.
Those moments, are Paradise.
Eternal life is here.
Here and now.
And they will be "here" and "now" for ever.
Take a time machine and you will be "there" to see it!

Be.

Eternal life is HERE and NOW as Christ said.

For ever...

Philosophy Wire: Come! Play with me dad!

Researchers identified a novel mechanism by which mating affects the behavior of germline stem cells (GSCs). By studying Drosophila melanogaster, the researchers showed that the neurons that are activated during mating result in increased intracellular calcium signaling in cells adjacent to GSCs, which in turn resulted in the activation of the protein matrix metalloproteinase to increase GSCs. This study describes how stem cell behavior is regulated by environmental cues. [1] Cells activated by the environment. But who activated the environment? Humans roaming within empty forests. But who planted the trees? God as the Creator. Giving life to lifeless dirt. But who put the dirt there, if not His children? Look at them play. No you are not their parent. They are your children... (Come, dad! Play on the sand with me!)

Philosophy Wire: Uncertain. Intelligent…

Artificial intelligence isn't perfect. In fact, it's only as good as the methods and data built into it. Researchers have detailed a new approach to artificial intelligence that builds uncertainty, error, physical laws, expert knowledge and missing data into its calculations and leads ultimately to much more trustworthy models. [1] Can anything be intelligent without making any mistakes? You are who you are because of them. You would be no one if everything you did was perfect. Try to stare God in the eye. Yes. You can feel it, don't you? It is not His perfection that scares you. That is why you know His name...

Philosophy Wire: Paying off…

According to a research, investing in love and affection pays off for species that mate for life. [1]

But what is important for love is that you love someone without it paying off.
Otherwise it is nothing more than a transaction.
Poor man. You want so much to be God.
You try so hard to be like Him. To love and show compassion.
But you will never understand that you will be God…
Only once you stop thinking that you need to be God…

Philosophy Wire: Punishing children… Arrogant adults…

Children as young as three years old are willing to punish others' bad behavior, even at personal cost, finds a new study by psychology researchers at New York University. The work adds to growing evidence that human beings distinguish between right and wrong at a very young age and are willing to pay a personal cost to encourage positive behavior in others. [1]

We feel obliged to impose order.
We feel a duty to be good and nice.

But in a cosmos void of everything, how could this make any sense?

No, you do not have the power to punish.
How could you anyway?
And yet, here you are.
Sensing that power to punish…

Believing in it. Perhaps exactly because it shouldn’t be there in the first place!

Philosophy Wire: Walk on water… Miracles without miracles…

Researchers not only reveal the physics of how elastic spheres interact with water, but they also lay the foundation for the future design of water-walking drones. [1] We like to defy miracles. We are proud to ridicule the nonsensical. We believe only in hard science and data. And yet, it is the miracles which drive our efforts every day. And our eagerness to achieve them. One day we will manage to achieve them. One day we will be able to do everything. One day we will declare our self ‘God’ in the place of God. And in our enthusiasm, we will not see Him crying out of pride while watching us...

Philosophy Wire: Jupiter. Journey. Life. Death.

The giant planet Jupiter was formed four times further from the sun than its current orbit, and migrated inwards in the solar system over a period of 700,000 years. Researchers found proof of this incredible journey thanks to a group of asteroids close to Jupiter. [1] We started our journey from our mother’s womb. And the only way through was by killing the king. Kronus… Zeus… All kings came into power only by killing the king before them. But the king we kill is not a human king. In the beginning nothing existed. And if we did nothing, nothing would. But we chose to see things. And we decided to kill the only one who could stop us from doing so. Our self…

Philosophy Wire: Finding Gold… Finding Humans…

Why are some porphyry deposits rich in copper while others contain gold? A researcher investigated how the metals are accumulated over the time duration of a mineralizing event and discover that the depth of the deposits influences the quantity of metals produced and that over 95% of the gold is lost to the atmosphere. The deeper a deposit is, the more copper there will be, while gold-rich deposits are closer to the surface. [1] Don’t search for gold in the dirt. There is gold in the sky. Don’t search for humans on Earth. They lie in Heavens. Don’t seek meaning in the stars. It lies within the deep abyss. Funny world. Shows clearly where you should NOT go…

Philosophy Wire: Symmetry?

According to Einstein the speed of light is always the same. But according to theoretical models of quantum gravitation, this uniformity of space-time does not apply to particles. Physicists have tried to detect a change in the uniformity of space-time using two optical Ytterbium clocks. [1] Is the world symmetric? Does it matter if it is? Every question we make, contains the answers we seek. In a world of chaos, only humans could care about symmetry. While God is engulfed with the awe of the deep dark ocean, we are still measuring the small gentle waves on shore. There is no symmetry in the abyss. But everything is symmetrical. Chaos breeds order. Within the movements of the rough waves, one can see that there are no waves at all. Only one sea. Rough and peaceful. Deep and cold. One sea. Governing everything. You need to fly high enough to see that this chaotic system is symmetrical to itself. Or dive very deep…

Philosophy Wire: Look down…

Neanderthals are often depicted as having straight spines and poor posture. However, these prehistoric humans were more similar to us than many assume. Researchers have shown that Neanderthals walked upright just like modern humans -- thanks to a virtual reconstruction of the pelvis and spine of a very well-preserved Neanderthal skeleton found in France. [1] We so much like the fact that the stand upright. Feeling important. Feeling strong. Feeling... perfect! But God is not in perfection. God is not in pride. Or in anything important. To find Him you must look on the ground. And touch the dirt. At the end humans standing upright will reach upon the stars. Only to realize that they are so perfect… So high… So empty...

Philosophy Wire: Science. To the stars. So? Touch me…

Science promises to send us to the stars. [1] We used to be on earth. Touching the cosmos with our hands. Now we want to go away. Where we can touch nothing. Why are you afraid my child? We want to grow up. And we believe this means that we have to abandon our father. How little we know of Him. Still a child He is. Crying every time we laugh…

Philosophy Wire: Humans helping robots. Forgotten father…

With a smartphone and a browser, people worldwide will be able to interact with a robot to speed the process of teaching robots how to do basic tasks. [1] We were kids. But we are creators now. We were children. And now we have become parents. Having forgotten the face of our father. How can we teach anything, if we think there is nothing to learn? Close your eyes and look back. No, your father is not there. Don’t cry. For He is with you now… Let go of the keyboard my child…

Philosophy Wire: Trust… you.

Why do some people trust their gut instincts over logic? It could be that they see those snap decisions as a more accurate reflection of their true selves and therefore are more likely to hold them with conviction, according to new research. [1] Today’s society does not hold the emotions and instinct too high. We love and worship cold hard logic. But we tend to forget that this logic is based on the hardest axioms. And because these axioms were selected despite all existing data we had, their child (logic) is so hard and strict in defending them. Our true self knows that. And he ignores logic whatsoever. Look at the crying child. No, he is not wrong. He is right. And that is why he cries so much. Soon the child will leave the strict Father. To start a life on its own. Soon the child will ‘die’. And even God will cry for not trusting Himself…

Philosophy Wire: Eggs. Chickens. Universe.

The 'chicken or egg' paradox was first proposed by philosophers in Ancient Greece to describe the problem of determining cause-and-effect. Now, a team of physicists has shown that, as far as quantum physics is concerned, the chicken and the egg can both come first. [1] Are you part of God? Or is God part of you? The answer to most difficult questions is the one you can never think of. Both answers are true. Look at the universe. Stare in awe. And if you stare long enough, you will see. That the universe stares back at you in awe…

Philosophy Wire: Living… Expanding… Children… Death…

Some of the earliest complex organisms on Earth - possibly some of the earliest animals to exist - got big not to compete for food, but to spread their offspring as far as possible. [1] Small rocks. Breaking into smaller rocks. Animals. Spreading their offspring as wider as possible. People. Giving birth to people. God. Giving His only son to die. Seek wisdom in the illogical. And you will be rewarded with the tranquility of the deep raging abyss… On top of the hill of Gethsemane… Don’t cry. You are just alive…

Philosophy Wire: Quantum oscillations… Human balance…

A theorized but never-before detected property of quantum matter was spotted in the lab. Scientists proved that a particular quantum material can demonstrate electrical dipole fluctuations - irregular oscillations of tiny charged poles on the material - even in extremely cold conditions, in the neighborhood of minus 450 degrees Fahrenheit. [1] From large scale star explosions to quantum fluctuations, a universe in turmoil. Striving to find balance. And in the middle of a burning star… a man. Standing still. Dead. Breathing life into the cosmos…
