Philosophy Wire: Mitochondria. Human body. Inexistent averages. Non-existence worlds.

The mitochondria within our cells seem to be way hotter (up to 50oC) than the rest of our bodies. [1] Every set of things has an average temperature. And yet this temperature is nowhere to be found in the specific parts of that set. Every piece of the cosmos is unique. And yet the cosmos as a whole is something completely unrelated to anything consisting it. The very nature of Being is something completely different than the beings themselves. We are here. But for the cosmos we do not even exist. The cosmos is there. But for us, it is not. See only inside you. And you will see that everything disappears. The average of everything outside is neither zero nor one. It is you. All there is, is you. Whole and complete. Well, perhaps you have a fever. Let me check you out…
