English: Phlosophy Wre by Spiros Kakos [2011-04-20]: Philosophy Wires will stop. Apple sued me, claiming that the "i" in "Philosophy" is an infringement of the "i" of iPhone.... Long lve Apple! (the "i" was ommited on purpose, I will not fall for it again) The company which has patented everything (along with the "black flat screen", the "green phone icon" etc - see web news) has hit again! :) And for those who laugh at this, maybe this is not so funny: About 20% of human genes have already been patented in the US by companies of universities [National Geographic]... No comment here... Just laughing out loud. Sometimes this is the best answer to great philosophical "issues" like "ownership of genes (or anything else)" which the modern era of "money is everything" has created...
Greek/Ελληνικά: Η Apple μήνυσε τη Samsung θεωρώντας πως η "μαύρη επίπεδη οθόνη", το "πράσινο εικονίδιο τηλεφώνου" και άλλα παρόμοια "σημαντικά" στοιχεία είναι πατενταρισμένα από αυτήν (βλ. web news). Στην εποχή όπου όλα θεωρούνται δυνητικά "ιδιοκτησία" μιας εταιρίας (ακόμα και τα γονίδια μας - βλ. National Geographic), η Apple συνεχίζει να μας εκπλήσσει... Δυστυχώς το παρόν Τηλεγράφημα δεν αποδίδεται καλά στα Ελληνικά. Η Apple δεν βρήκε ακόμα τρόπο να πατεντάρει κανένα ελληνικό γράμμα όπως έχει κάνει με το "i"... Στη μανία ορισμένων να "αποκτήσουν" έλεγχο στα πάντα, μόνο ο γέλωτας είναι η απάντηση... Στην Ελλάδα (ευτυχώς) δεν είμαστε τόσο "εξελιγμένοι" ώστε να δίνουμε πατέντες για τα πάντα... (στην Κίνα μπορεί, εκεί έχουν)
