Τα δίκτυα συχνά περιγράφονται ως δένδρα με διακλαδιζόμενα κλαδιά. Πώς τα κλαδιά των δέντρων επεκτείνονται και διαιρούνται εξαρτάται από τη λογική πίσω από την επέκταση του δικτύου, όπως για παράδειγμα είναι η τυχαία επέκταση. Ωστόσο, ορισμένες πτυχές των εν λόγω τυχαία επεκτεινόμενων δικτύων παραμένουν αμετάβλητες και ανεξάρτητες από το μέγεθος του δικτύου. Ως αποτέλεσμα, το σύνολο του δικτύου έχει το ίδιο σχήμα με ένα ή περισσότερα από τα τμήματά του. [1] Το μεγάλο είναι μικρό. Το μικρό είναι μεγάλο. Επαναλαμβανόμενα μοτίβα σε ένα σύμπαν γεμάτο αντινομίες. Ύπαρξη που κυβερνάται από το Ένα, σε ένα σύμπαν γεμάτο αντιθέσεις. Κοίτα το δάσος. Και πίσω από κάθε δέντρο θα μπορέσεις να να δεις. Ότι κάθε σπόρος είναι το ίδιο. Νεκρός. Μέσα στη ζωντανή Γη. Περιμένοντας να υπάρξει. Και καταπιεί τα πάντα σε μια φλόγα θανάτου…

Philosophy Wire: Spanning networks. Trees. Branches. Self-repetition.

Networks are often described as trees with spanning branches. How the tree branches out depends on the logic behind the network's expansion, such as random expansion. However, some aspects of such randomly expanding networks are invariant; regardless of the network's scale. As a result, the entire network has the same shape as one or more of its parts. [1] Big is small. Small is big. Repeating patterns in a universe full of antinomies., Existence ruled by One, in a cosmos full of opposites. Look at the forest. And behind every tree you may see. That every seed is the same. Dead. Inside the living Earth. Waiting to spring into existence. And engulf everything in a blaze of death…
