Philosophy Wire: Rwandan survivor, hate, forgiveness and Theory of Evolution

Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2011-03-08]: A survivor of the genocide in Rwanda was hiding for 91 days in a bathroom with seven other women. When she came out she learned that all her family had been killed. Now, located in New York, she says that with the help of prayer she has forgiven them and talks about her experience [source: CNN Edition]. An excellent example of humanity. An excellent sample of the substance that separates us from rocks and slugs. Science must begin dealing face-to-face with issues like this if it wants to approach humans again. But wait a minue...I forgot that "science" has already "proved" that acts like this have some materialistic reason hiding behind since we all obey the simple laws of evolution (see Evolution Theory Analysis)...
