Philosophy Wire: Records, Google and why sharing is “bad”…

Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2011-12-23]: Record companies accuse Google of being too lenient with illegal downloads of music. They claim that Google should prioritize its search results better so as to show the "legal” sources of music before “illegal” sources of music [source: BBC News]. Our society has passed the point of debating whether sharing is good. It seems that in todays society sharing something you own is pure and plainly illegal.
PS. The “detail” that the search results can be manipulated is a Philosophy Wire on its own…
