Medicine has made tremendous progress in recent years regarding early diagnosis and we should be grateful for that. But in any case the proper informing of people about these test is more important than blind enthusiasm. Usually such tests are not accompanied by a corresponding awareness of the limits of detectability, the margin of error or the real importance of a possible negative (or positive) result for the patient. And usually most patients only learn more on the issue by their own personal research, since the doctor merely cries a "is the latest method!" for "informing" them... To grasp the (really great) benefits from medical advances, doctors must be more people and less "salesmen of expensive methods". Because in any case the personal relationship between the doctor and the patient is the A to Z...
