Philosophy Wire: 2010-11-17 Politics is about wise long-term thinking and not about childish short term thinking. What does a country think and plan when it decides to be part of something like the EU? Germany thinks it is not fair to help other European countries with their deficits. Germans seem to forget how they made their money from those countries in the most recent past. Germans have had great growth, but on the expense of other smaller EU countries. Germans have had great growth, but without paying anything to their workers as a reward. And when troubles came to their door, they just play deaf. Right? Wrong? Or catastrophic? Germans have destroyed Europe twice so far. Now they will do it for a third time. They will do it "peacefully", but they will still do it...
