The “discovery” that we can account only for the 4% of the matter in the Universe did not have any impact on the trust people have in astronomy. How would the SAME people react to an announcement by a religion that it has “suddenly discovered” that its doctrine can account only for the 4% of the phenomena it once thought it explained?
