Philosophy Wire: Easter, Science and the voidness of scientific models...

Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2011-04-18]: Easter is close and television shows depicting the alleged war between religion and science. But how many people from those who will go to Church these days, are actually going there to find answers to scientific questions? People are looking out for humanity in a world full of "scientific data". Modern exact science cannot comprehend that creating models is not panacea in a world where humans live, die, laugh and cry... Ethics, good, evil, love and forgiveness cannot be measured in the lab. And as long as there are people who are ready to categorize other people and name them as "stupid" simply because they do not fit into their void-of-humanity models of the cosmos, Harmonia will never come...
