Philosophy Wire: The Vatican, Cosmology and the Science-Religion relationship


Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2011-02-22]: The Vatican state will soon operate a Cosmology Internet Portal, aiming to show that religion and science are friends and not enemies [source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-12244279]. It is true that many people have invested in the so called "war" between science and religion. Think honestly: how many of us go to the church in order to be updated on the latest scientific developments? And on the other hand: how many of us go to a scientific lab in order to get confort, human love and guidance? Science are religion are two tools which are both very useful in their own scope. As Einstein said, "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind"...
