Philosophy Wire: 2010-10-22 NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) warned for the effect the changes in Arctic will have to the planet. How "real" is the ecological danger? Is Earth really warming up, or is it just following a natural circle of changes? Isn't it arrogant to claim that we can "destroy" the planet? If an ice cube melts in a glass of water, the level of water will not change at all, according to Archimedes. Who says otherwise? Who believes him?
